Terms for schools, teachers and parents

The service

Nagaland AI Schools is a web service for recording school attendance and sharing attendance, notices, homework, results and timetables with parents. It supports, and does not replace, the records a school must keep under board or department rules.

Schools

• The person registering a school confirms they are authorised by the school to do so and to share student and parent details with us for this purpose.
• The school is responsible for the accuracy of what its staff enter, for keeping logins private, and for handing parent-code slips only to the right parent or guardian.
• The school may export its data at any time and may close its account by writing to us.

Fees

• Every new school gets a free trial (currently 1-month free trial). After that the fee is ₹2 per student per month, billed yearly or quarterly, calculated on the school's active students on the day of payment, with a minimum of ₹500 per year (₹150 per quarter when paying quarterly). Current prices are on the Pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice; a paid period is never repriced.
• Prices include GST; the receipt shows the GST breakup.
• If a subscription ends, the school keeps access for a 15-day grace period, after which the dashboard is locked until payment. Data is not deleted because of non-payment.
• Refunds: a payment can be refunded in full within 7 days if the school has not used the service after paying; otherwise fees are non-refundable. Write to us and we will sort out genuine mistakes (double payment, wrong school).

Teachers and parents

Accounts are personal. Do not share passwords. Parents may link only children in their own care. Misuse (for example entering another family's parent code) leads to removal of the account and may be reported to the school.

Acceptable use

Do not enter information the school is not allowed to collect, do not attempt to access another school's data, and do not use automated tools against the service without written permission.

Availability and liability

We aim for the service to be available at all times but cannot promise it; maintenance and outages happen. The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to a school is limited to the fees that school paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for decisions a school or department takes based on records entered by its own staff.
